The Premcore / Valero Pipe Bridge Over Nonconnah Creek is a 514 foot long, 29 foot wide, 3 span bridge with bulb-tee beams using cast-in-place composite decking. The bridge was originally designed for one-lane HS15 truck loading plus a heavy utility piping load. Burr & Cole was involved in the design of the preliminary bulb-tee beam. We also were involved in the Substructure Design including cast-in-place composite deck design, intermediate bents, abutments, and foundations. We performed the seismic design for the structure as well.
