The City of Germantown Bob Hailey Park Access Pedestrian Bridge

The Bob Hailey Athletic Complex in Germantown, TN is a 44-acre public park where the community is able to enjoy many different kinds of outdoor activities. There are several playgrounds, athletic fields, pickleball courts, walking trails and picnic areas available to enjoy. As part of the City of Germantown’s recent upgrades to the complex, we had the opportunity to design a replacement pedestrian bridge that connects the parking lot to the Baseball Complex. Chickasaw Landing State Park Pedestrian Bridge Replacement

As the Prime Designer for this project located in Henderson County, Tennessee at Chickasaw Landing State Park, we worked closely with the State of TN Department of Environment and Conservation and the State of TN Real Estate Asset Management. Demolition of the existing timber bridge required drawing down the lake. The beautiful new bridge is a 650-foot, pedestrian bridge with timber piling. Rhodes College Pedestrian Bridge

Location: Memphis, Tennessee The historic Rhodes College in midtown Memphis continues to enhance their campus for its growing student body. An opportunity arose to purchase a renovated housing facility on North Parkway. There was no access to the property from the main campus even though the properties shared a common boundary. Lick Creek separated the two properties. Lick Creek is a concrete lined drainage channel within a 45 foot wide public drainage easement. The solution for connectivity to the main campus was the design and construction of a pedestrian bridge over the creek. Burr & Cole was the Prime Designer for this 70’ long span by 10’ wide bridge.
