Cromwell Elementary School Addition

This project included a new two-story classroom addition containing classrooms, restrooms, teacher’s work areas, storage, utility areas and mechanical/electrical space. Presbyterian Day School (PDS) Renovations

Location: Memphis, Tennessee Architect: The Crump Firm This two-story building on the 2nd Presbyterian Church campus consists of an early childhood center, gymnasium with a full-sized basketball court, lifetime fitness and a mechanical room. The structure is comprised of steel frame composite concrete slab with reinforced concrete masonry. This addition to the existing building and adds approximately 83,800 s.f. of new construction. The building addition was designed per High Seismic Zone requirements as governed by the International Building Code 2006. The seismic design incorporated a site specific seismic evaluation. The seismic occupancy category was considered a substantial hazard to human life and therefore was designed for higher seismic forces than an ordinary building....

Location: Memphis, Tennessee Architect: Hastings & Chivetta The $22 million Bryan Campus Life Center is a multi-sport and fitness center with some of the best facilities and amenities available in the NCAA. The civil engineering on the Bryan Campus Life Center included design and drawings for the relocation of tennis courts, a baseball field, practice fields, as well as parking and drives. The structural portion of the project was 89,000 SF of new construction including is a large a multi-sport gymnasium. It also offers a ballroom, student dining areas, and 7,000 SF exercise and weight areas. It has three squash and racquet ball courts. This is the nerve center for Rhodes Athletics.
