Rhodes College Catherine Burrow Refectory Expansion

Location: Memphis, Tennessee This project included a two-story, 18,000 SF addition and renovations to 38,000 SF of the existing building originally constructed between 1923 and 1986. The renovations included removal and replacement of a portion of existing roof to meet architectural requirements.  New openings were cut into existing concrete floor framing and walls as well as the infill of existing openings to accommodate new architectural and mechanical requirements. Rhodes College Pedestrian Bridge

Location:  Memphis, Tennessee The historic Rhodes College in midtown Memphis continues to enhance their campus for its growing student body.  An opportunity arose to purchase a renovated housing facility on North Parkway.  There was no access to the property from the main campus even though the properties shared a common boundary.  Lick Creek separated the two properties. Lick Creek is a concrete lined drainage channel within a 45 foot wide public drainage easement.  The solution for connectivity to the main campus was the design and construction of a pedestrian bridge over the creek. Rhodes College Track & Field Facility

Location:  Memphis, Tennessee As the Prime Designer on this project, we completed the design and construction administration of a new track along with field improvements within the campus Track & Field Facility.  The project involved the removal of the existing track through the stripping of the existing surface and removal of topsoil, establishing new grade elevations, installation of a sub-surface drainage system, construction of the track perimeter curb, and installation of a track surface.    ...
