Location:  Southaven, Mississippi Architect:  Askew Nixon Ferguson Architects This beautiful church in Southaven, Mississippi sits on approximately 13 acres of a pastoral campus. The challenge was allow for increased visibility from the busy road while providing a quiet, pastoral setting for parishioners. Burr & Cole provided assistance with site planning and utility infrastructure of a new church campus. Our scope of services included a new Worship Space, Religious Education Center, Central Plant, parking area, athletic fields, and storm water detention. This project added 26,000 SF of worship space, 9,730 SF of educational space and 1,540 SF of central plant. Our design provided parking for 200 spaces, plus future parking options....

Renaissance Center & Parking Garage

Location:  Memphis, Tennessee This 8 story plus partial basement, 190,000 SF office building was designed with composite steel, special moment frames and seismic design.  It is a Class A office building with a 3 story open lobby area.  The outside is adorned with reflective blue-green glass. Rhodes College East Village Residence Hall

Location: Memphis, Tennessee The Rhodes College East Village is a 75,000 square foot, 3 story dormitory designed for upper-class male and female students.  Each dorm/apartment included a kitchen, living room and full bathroom.  The East Village design also contained a laundry area, conference room and a large meeting area with a patio that connected to the East Village Lodge.  This is wood frame and steel construction with shallow foundation.  Seismic resistance was provided by plywood shearwalls....
