Location:  Collierville, Tennessee This 330,000 SF fast track addition to the Carrier Plant in Collierville, TN increased the 480,000 SF facility to over 800,000 SF.  Essential to the project were teamwork and strong communication between all members.  As with many of our projects, this job required phased release of documents.  The team carefully tracked construction costs during design to provide within-budget results. The Carrier Everest addition allows the Collierville plant to increase air conditioner production to 2 million units per year.  This facility contains a new press area, coil shop, paint areas, other fabrication areas, and warehousing.  The scope of work included increasing the capacity of the existing chiller plant, plant electrical capacity, and natural gas service.  Also added were...

Rhodes College Paul Barret Jr. Library
Location:  Memphis, Tennessee Architect:  Hanbury Evans Wright Vlattas + Company This state of the art library is 136,000 SF located in the center of Rhodes College Campus.  It is surrounded by 100 acres of landscaping and buildings.  Paul Barret, Jr. Library is a technology hub containing a theater, complete media production facilities, and a teaching and learning center.  The 3 and 4 story library is designed to incorporate many quiet study spaces, areas for computer access, media production, and open areas where students and professors may work together.  The entire library is a completely wireless environment. Location:  Southaven, Mississippi Architect:  Askew Nixon Ferguson Architects This beautiful church in Southaven, Mississippi sits on approximately 13 acres of a pastoral campus. The challenge was allow for increased visibility from the busy road while providing a quiet, pastoral setting for parishioners. Burr & Cole provided assistance with site planning and utility infrastructure of a new church campus. Our scope of services included a new Worship Space, Religious Education Center, Central Plant, parking area, athletic fields, and storm water detention. This project added 26,000 SF of worship space, 9,730 SF of educational space and 1,540 SF of central plant. Our design provided parking for 200 spaces, plus future parking options....
