We evaluated 25 highway bridges in Shelby County and determined their performance during a seismic event using three methods: 1) Federal Highway Administration, 2) HAZ-US, and 3) on-site inspections. The results of the evaluation were used to determine emergency services routes for Shelby County after a significant seismic event.
