Brinkley Plaza was built in the 1920’s and renovated to be an office complex in the mid 1980’s. It has approximately 220,000 SF. Burr & Cole performed a seismic evaluation of these existing buildings in accordance with ASCE/SEI 31-03 “Seismic Evaluation of Existing Buildings”. We performed a Tier 1 Evaluation and evaluated the structures for the Life Safety Performance Level as defined by ASCE and for 3/4 of the seismic force level resistance that is contained in FEMA 310.
