Brooks
Museum of Art
Design
Team's objective was to expand and reorganize the museum in
phases, starting with the 1915 building, the 1973 gallery addition, and
replacing a 1955 addition with new entry, administrative, store,
auditorium, restaurant, and support facilities. The new 32,000 S.F.
central block links the 1915 and 1973 structures. Structural
system consisted of a concrete frame below lobby level, and a steel
frame with bar joists above. |

Shelby County New Central Library
Five
story, plus basement and mechanical penthouse. 330,000 S.F.,
Concrete
Beams,
joists, and slabs, brick, and curtain wall exterior. |

Drive
Library
Shelby
Drive Library is a 30,000 S.F. one story steel frame building
with moment frames along perimeter of building; also constructed was a
steel pedestrian bridge crossing over the creek. |

College / Campus Life Center
Project
included 66,000 S.F. of space for basketball, elevated track,
exercise room, offices, ballroom, and
renovated
80,000 S.F. existing structure for lockers, basketball,
racquetball, squash, and other activities. |

University of the South (Sewanee) Dining Hall
Two story, 41,000 S.F. contemporary Gothic steel and masonry structure
for meetings, informal dining, and refectory adjacent to
Gothic chapel.

University of Tennessee Library/Nursing Building
Eight Story,
111,000 S.F., concrete pan joist framing, post-tensioned transfer beams
at 2nd Floor,
and concrete and curtain wall exterior.
