Burr & Cole Consulting Engineers, Inc., is a structural/civil consulting engineering firm located near the center of Memphis at Poplar and Highland. Principals are Bruce Burr, Jack Cole, Steve Green, Bernard Zawada, and Joel Johnson.

  The firm was founded in 1973 by Bruce Burr and Jack Cole with offices adjacent to the mechanical/electrical engineering
consulting firm of OGCB, INC.  Projects have included Rhodes Campus Life Center, Memphis/Shelby
County New Central Library, Brooks Museum of Art, Memphis International Airport Projects, significant fast-track
projects for the Med Burn and Ambulatory Care Center, Union Planters Administrative Center, industrial plant modifications
and additions for Carrier Corporation, Quebecor Printing, and Sharp Manufacturing Company.

Staff Experience

Seven registered Professional Engineers with 5 to 28 years with Burr & Cole; three have Masters degrees, and one pursuing Masters of Engineering Management.
